Over 100 participants show everyday life between 1160 and 1170.

Over 100 participants from all over Europe stage the High Middle Ages at Lenzburg Castle - with fast-paced sword fights, knightly competitions and demonstrations of everything from courtly ceremonial to craftsmanship.

The reenactment group "Comthurey Alpinum" and other groups will present everyday medieval life between 1160 and 1170 as authentically as possible during the Medieval Days 2025. The focus is on Ulrich IV: the Count of Lenzburg was an important diplomat of Emperor Barbarossa and receives delegations from the Lombards and Burgundians at the castle. Exciting negotiations are guaranteed!  The Medieval Days also offer insights into the science, cuisine and fashion of the time.

A free shuttle bus runs between Lenzburg railroad station and the castle.

- This event is an authentic representation of the Middle Ages. The organizer therefore asks guests not to attend in disguise.
- Goods are presented at the market stalls. These are not for sale.
- Dogs are not permitted at Lenzburg Castle.
