The Love Ride Switzerland is a biker benefit event to support people with a muscle disease or handicap and event for the whole family at the Dübendorf airfield.

The Love Ride Switzerland is the largest biker benefit event in Europe to support people with a muscular disease or handicap. The event for the whole family in its current form is only possible with the help of hundreds of volunteers as well as numerous sponsors and patrons. This year, it will take place on May 8, 2022, starting at 8:00 am at the Dübendorf airfield and in any weather.

The highlight of the annual event is an approx. 60 km long ride out (start at 11 am), where people with a muscle disease and handicap go with in sidecars and on trikes, which gives them unforgettable hours each time: A little piece of freedom without wheelchair. A diverse supporting program at the Dübendorf airfield, consisting of concerts, exhibitions, shows, and much more complement the ride out.

Since the Love Ride Committee and all the helpers work on a voluntary basis and the event is covered by sponsorships, the entire sum of the day’s takings goes to those affected. The close cooperation with partner organizations such as the Swiss Muscle Society, the Swiss Cystic Fibrosis Society (CFCH), the Marfan Foundation Switzerland, Pro Infirmis Switzerland and the Swiss Foundation for the Cerebral Palsy Child, respectively, allows an unbureaucratic, yet professional financial support.
