Zug artists Barbara Tresch-Stuppan and Martin Spillmann explore nature and the city on paper: floral worlds of color meet urban sketches - delicate, lively, rich in contrast.

The first exhibition of the year is a multi-layered prelude: Two Zug artists, two perspectives, one common medium - paper. In her drawings, Barbara Tresch-Stuppan explores the fragility and composition of a place, inspired by the lush flora of her garden. She captures color melodies and patterns with colored pencils, reducing, interpreting and condensing them into fragmentary memories. Her works are reminiscent of filigree networks - between bacterial cultures, fabric structures and delicate plant tissues.

Martin Spillmann, on the other hand, focuses on the urban. He captures the energy and structures of the city of Zug and its surroundings in dynamic, fast lines. His urban sketches document life on paper - spontaneous, reduced and immediate.

"Auftakt" combines nature and city, color and line, moment and memory. An exhibition about seeing, capturing and beauty in detail.
