The traditional "Alpabfahrt" from Alp Chruteren takes place on 21. September.

The alpine summer is slowly coming to an end and the alpine families return to the valley with their cattle.

On 21. September , the Chruteren Alp descent takes place through the village of Stoos. The alpine family and their helpers look forward to enthusiastic spectators marveling at the traditionally decorated cows.
