Celebrate Switzerland's birthday in Brunnen

A two-day festival awaits you with musical entertainment, lots of culinary delights and a gigantic fireworks display over Lake Lucerne.

The festivities in the village last from July 31 until the early hours of August 2. The road closure in the village center allows for a larger strolling and gastronomy zone, which invites you to linger. They will be supported by a large open-air stage and smaller stages with live music ranging from Ländler to pop/rock. Of course, there are also rows of festival benches and tables. Just sit down and enjoy the various food and drink options and the incredible atmosphere. The fireworks display on the lake in front of Brunnen takes place on August 1 from 22:00 to 22:15. Come to the lakeshore and marvel at the fireworks that are shot into the evening sky from Nauen, illuminating it and reflecting off the surface of the water.
